Dr. Hilde Berwarth specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders (varicose veins and spider veins).
As a vein specialist, Dr. Berwarth has many years of surgical experience in leading positions and has been active in modern phlebology (vein medicine) for more than 20 years. Being surgeon and phlebologist at the same, she is able to offer the complete spectrum of vein therapies from diagnosis to therapy and follow-up care.
The focus is on modern, endovenous methods, which can be carried out under local anaesthesia in our Vein Centre. The inability to work usually exists only for a few days.
If in rare cases the classical, surgical method (crossectomy & stripping) for the removal of varicose veins is indicated, this is carried by Dr. Berwarth out at our partner clinics.
